Born and raised in the cotton mill village of Lindale, GA , Mike Ragland is a much beloved speaker, author, historian and columnist in Northwest Georgia. A retired Major from the Rome City Police Department, Mike's unique perspective and down home southern humor is irresistable and his talent for story telling is unparalleled.

Mike's last creation Living with Lucy, we enjoy the story of his sassy talking chocolate dachshund as she experiences the first year in the life of an ordinary puppy.
